Busy again for the last couple of weeks! I've been doing some work with John, a local electrician, which has been interesting. I'm learning a lot, and have been doing work everywhere from Camp, to Castlegregory and Dingle. The weather has been great, cold in the mornings but sunny and warm in the afternoons ( well, up until yesterday when we returned to normal for February, wet and windy. ) It does mean that all the daffodils, primroses and crocuses are out, which is always a nice sight.

Rachel has been to see Mark and Laura's new arrival, Jago, and says he's a fine fella!

Been a bit slow updating things as we've had a week away snowboarding in Les Arcs, France. We were really lucky as it snowed for two days before we arrived, then we had clear blue skies before another day of snow, and some great powder off piste. There was one more mixed day, and the rest of the week was clear and sunny. We stayed in 1950 which is pretty new and traffic free, with good restaurants and shops. Caitlin enjoyed herself, and was in creche for the afternoons. This was horrendously expensive, but meant we could get out out the slopes. Rachels Mum, Dad and brother came too: Mum and Dad skied a bit - Roger hadn't been for quite a few years, and Lynn had never been so they took a private lesson one afternoon. I think the instructor was a bit too keen as it put Lynn off! Roger had a few runs in the afternoons and seemed to be getting into it, and Alex tried his hand at snowboarding - he's still in one piece so that's a good start! Got back to similar weather in Ireland, clear and sunny.

Most importantly we must say congratulations to Mark and Laura ( and of course Padma ) on the arrival of Jago just before we went on our travels - haven't caught up yet as Rachel has had the flu, so keeping a low profile, but can't wait to see them all!
